Our History

Influence Forward was launched in February of 2014. The name company “Influence Forward” is based upon the Oscar nominated movie, Pay It Forward, about a young boy who starts a phenomena of having people perform good deeds for others with no expectations of anything in return. For Influence Forward, this concept represents the epitome of ethical influence, moving others to share in a common goal that is mutually beneficial and rewarding.

Influence Forward was launched on the global success of Dr. Robert Cialdini’s Principles of Persuasion Workshops and will continue to evolve to new heights and audiences with other Influence Forward Workshops such as Influence Matters, Influence in Small Business and Corporate Influence.

Carol Perriccio

Carol Perriccio, CMCT®, is a leader in sales, training and operations with over 27 years of experience spanning multiple industries.

Her early career included developing sales, training and workforce solutions to national insurance and real estate companies, as well as nonprofit healthcare organizations throughout the country. She has spent the last 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry working specifically with startup companies developing and leading their sales training and operations programs.

Carol is one of 23 individuals in the world who currently hold the CMCT® designation, earned directly from Dr. Robert B. Cialdini, the world’s most cited social psychologist and author of the bestselling book, Influence, Science and Practice. She is known for her energetic and exceptional presentation skills using humor and real world scenarios to engage her audience and ensure impactful delivery. Her specialties include classroom and national meeting training, field coaching, public speaking, and customized training solutions built on a continuum to positively impact the success of organizations. Carol’s extensive, and diverse professional experience, coupled with her effective training and presentation skills, ensures her success to connect to audiences in many industries, and at all levels of the organization.

Linda Jenkins
Director of Operations

Linda Jenkins is an experienced project management and business operations professional with over 20 years of experience in Sales and Marketing operations and support.

After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Linda started her career in the Silicon Valley-area working in multiple industries, including software, automotive and food services with leadership and expertise in trade show, CRM and financial management.

Linda has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the last nine years, in sales operations, compliance, marketing and account management. As part of the commercial team at a startup pharmaceutical, she played an integral role in corporate compliance, vehicle risk management, meeting management, representative on/off boarding, data and analytics reporting, speaker programs, tradeshow coordination and budget management. Linda was instrumental as the company went through both a merger and acquisition and worked cross functionally with all departments as a team leader for successful transitions. In a pharmaceutical vendor role Linda worked in customer relations and account management for a national speaker’s bureau.

Linda has distinguished herself as a team leader, able to handle multiple initiatives working with all levels of the organization including corporate, field management, vendors and customers. She is the consummate professional with the ability to see the big picture, while maintaining daily success through her eye for detail and the ability to collaborate with a diversified group of key decision makers.

Andrea Taggart
Director of Professional Development

Andrea Taggart has over 20 years of corporate leadership and entrepreneurial experience in human resources, project management, sales and customer service.

Her early career included human resource solutions and project management in the financial industry. She then moved to launch, implement and lead a multi-faceted human resource program from the ground up for an asset management software company. Also, as a key member of the executive team, Andrea was instrumental contributor in the company merger and moving the company public.

For the past 10 years, Andrea has successfully launched, opened and managed three successful retail stores in the Raleigh-Durham area. Beyond the business and financial management aspects, her main success was achieved through creative and extensive marketing programs. As part of a large culinary retail organization, Andrea led her team in sales and exceptional customer service. Andrea’s marketing and sales skills extended to her extensive volunteer roles, serving in President and Chair, as well as a Director of Recruiting for a $2.6 million capital campaign project. Andrea is known for her strong business, marketing and human resource skills, and her creative, out of the box perspective. With a psychology degree from University of Chapel Hill, she has now dedicated her career to the psychology of persuasion and influence and its successful impact in all levels of business.
